About this project

Is there such a thing as soft, sweet and swirled caramel with no sugar at all? No. But we have reduced the sugar contents by 79 per cent, and that’s why we can call it sugar-reduced/low in sugar with a good conscience. And on top of that we’ve added a twist of the most wonderful coffee aroma!

Nutritional content per 100g:

Energy: 584 kJ / 142 kcal. Protein: 3.1  g. Carbohydrates: 13 g – hereof 5.5 g natural sugar types from cream and milk. Fat: 8.4 g – hereof 5 g saturated fatty acids. Salt: 0.15 g. fibres: 15 g.


Buttermilk, 15 % cream, bulking agent (polydextrose), consistency agent (erythritol), 10 % caramel (oligofructose, water, skimmed milk powder, coconut fat, salt, coffee aroma), buttermilk powder, emulgators (mono- and diglycerides of fatty acids), stabilisators (guar gum, carob seed flour, carrageenans), sweeteners (sucralose), natural aroma, natural coffee aroma, colouring matters (ammonia caramel).

Wauw caramel ice cream contains 79 % less sugar and has 38 % fewer calories compared with traditional caramel ice cream.
